“Banh Xeo” (Vietnamese pancake) is one of the most famous Vietnamese dishes. The taste of Banh Xeo depends on the region, and Banh Xeo in Hoi An will give you a very unique local flavor. 

One of the ingredients that makes Banh Xeo in Hoi An different is the shrimp. Other ingredients like pork/beef, squid, bean sprout are extra. The aroma of rice flour mixed with coconut milk and turmeric powder made the dish. “Mi Quang” is a typical dish in Danang and is also popular in Hoi An. The rice noodles are made by ground rice flour using added turmeric and bone broth seasoned with fish sauce, black pepper, shallot, garlic and fresh vegetables. It comprises shrimp, boiled eggs and roast pork/fish/chicken/beef slices. 

Many locals like enjoying Mi Quang for breakfast, but you can see people also like to have it at all times of the day. “Mi Quang Ong Hai Hoi An” on 6A Truong Minh Luong St. is one the best places for Mi Quang in Hoi An.
